You can pick a spot outside or use a pot. It is a great learning experience as well as therapeutic to work on. Talk about what you are doing and how to care for your new plant. You may have to take small steps to get used to how things feel and that’s okay. This is something that can happen over a period of time and become their very own project.

We love finding new ways to have fun with our friends. Here are some of our favorite tips:
    1. They have their very own egg hunt!
    2. They are assigned to all the yellow eggs (pick their favorite color) for their group of kids.
    3. Practice finding eggs at home before the big day.
    4. Make sure you have a basket or bucket ready to go.

Changes in routine, different food, decorations and extra people around can be too much all at once. It’s a good idea to talk about what is coming so they know what to expect. On the day of it may help to bring familiar food and have a quiet space for them if they feel overwhelmed.
